Our paper was rejected from Bioinformatics. The reviews were rather good, but deemed insufficient by the editor.

We will resubmit the paper to BMC Bioinformatics. It is an open access journal, which accepts much longer manuscripts, so we'll be able to describe pROC in more details. As it will require substantial modifications, we'll need some more time before we can submit it, but it could be a beneficial turn.
